Learn practical workshop skills at Cre8
Our Cre8 programs are especially for people who would like to become more independent and learn practical skills while exploring your creative side and making friends.
Cre8 is for people who have core or capacity building in your NDIS Plan. We can support you to achieve goals such as independence or social and capacity building skills.
Work in a small group to make wooden items such as garden beds, picnic tables and chopping boards or design, plan and build something for yourself.
Our aim is to provide you with opportunities to learn woodwork skills in a workplace environment.
We also provide a transition from school program which teaches job skills to students. We’ll explore work experience opportunities and build your skills to lead to employment, including:
- Employment skills
- Time keeping
- Respect
- Trade skills
- Workplace behaviour
- Safety
- Following instructions
- Project management
- Using power tools
- Group collaboration
