Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA)
We are looking for people to create a new home in Heidelberg Heights. The house is Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA), owned by the Department of Families, Fairness and Housing (DFFH) and managed by VMCH, has been transformed from a six-bedroom short term accommodation into two separate, three bedroom units for permanent living.
We would love to assist a group of people who would like to live together set up a household in this newly renovated home.
Unit one is suitable for people using a wheelchair or require extra support. Unit two is suitable for people requiring less physical supports.
The house is located close to a wide range of amenities including, Austin and Mercy Hospitals, Heidelberg and Rosanna Train Stations, Burgundy Street Shopping Precinct, Upper Heidelberg Road Shops, along with a large variety of restaurants and cafés.

About the vacant room
The vacant room has built in robes and features cooling and heating for resident comfort in the winter and summer months.
The new housemate can furnish their rooms with their belongings to suit their personal style.
Things you need to know
You must be 18 years or over to apply. As we are a registered NDIS Accommodation provider, you will need to have the appropriate Supported Independent Living (SIL) funding in your NDIS plan. You will need to be able to pay rent and utilities and establish a Residential Agreement.
