About Austin Street, Alphington
Unique specialist home for people with acquired brain injury.
Our specialist home called Austin Street in Alphington, Melbourne, was initially established over a decade ago as part of the My Future, My Choice program. At Austin Street we aim to transition people with acquired brain injury who, may otherwise, live in aged care residences, to independent living or provide a permanent home with the required supports. We support our residents through 24 hour medical care, allied health and lifestyle programs to build on the skills needed to live independently with family or friends, or in the community.

About the vacant room
The vacant room has built in robes and features cooling and heating for resident comfort in the winter and summer months.
The new housemate can furnish their rooms with their belongings to suit their personal style.
